ROB NINKOVICH CASE STUDY


Contract Negotiation

A fifth round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft from Purdue University, 360 Sports has negotiated multiple contracts worth more than $20 million to date in Rob Ninkovich’s career. In September, 2013, Rob signed a three-year contract extension with the New England Patriots worth $13 million. Rob hopes to continue his successful career with the Patriots which has included him being named team captain and making a Super Bowl appearance.

Marketing & Endorsements

As a local celebrity and captain of the Patriots’ defense, Rob has been a featured weekly guest on WROR-FM’s Loren and Wally Show – a local, popular radio show, which pays him to call-in each week to provide insight into the Patriots. Additionally, whenever he schedules allows, he makes appearances at a number of businesses and restaurants in the greater Boston area, signing autographs and interacting with fans. Finally, 360 Sports has also negotiated a deal with Nike to ensure that Rob is always decked out in his favorite gear.

Community Relations

Rob Ninkovich believes in giving back to the community. Rob has a strong affinity for young children suffering from cancer and brain trauma. He has been involved in fundraising for cancer research. Balancing his role as team captain, Rob has dedicated his time to making appearances at the local children’s hospital in Boston with other community events, such as serving as ambassador for the Boston Red Sox’ minor league team, the Sea Dogs and at the Maritime Academy to show support for our troops.

Media

As one of the leaders and captains on the Patriots’ defense, Rob speaks to the media on a regular basis. Rob is viewed in high regard by the team and the community and as such he is constantly on various local and national media outlets, including, ESPN, Fox Sports, NFL Network, USA Today, Sirius NFL Radio, just to name a few.
