MANHATTAN, KS — Jake Waters, QB, Kansas State, wants to show NFL Scouts he will be ready to contribute. Because Waters underwent surgery on January 15th to repair his throwing shoulder’s AC joint from an injury suffered against Oklahoma in 2014, he will be holding a Pro Day doing passing drills on Friday, April 17th at K-State to demonstrate his progress and give NFL Teams the best opportunity to see him before the NFL Draft.
“Jake has demonstrated that he’s a champion and a winner at all levels,” stated Craig Domann, NFL Agent, 360 Sports LLC. “He’s 75 – 13 win/loss record at all levels and he’s thrown for more than 17,000 passing yards. Jake’s mindset and football abilities are consistent with the quarterbacks that start on Sundays. ”
Waters is one of the most accurate and efficient quarterbacks in Kansas State school history who led the Wildcats to a 17-9 record in his 26 career starts in two seasons. He holds numerous single season and career passing records for Kansas State.
